Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) is a remarkable tool that clinicians can use to augment their physical exam and improve patient care. With POCUS you can inspect the internal organs, not just examine the skin or listen with a stethoscope. You can develop autonomy and come to a diagnosis in minutes that would take hours to days without it. The goal of POCUS Med Ed is to use published books, blog posts, and research to bring clinicians into the modern era and make using an ultrasound probe as routine as using a stethoscope.
