A POCUS Book is Coming

There are many excellent how-to POCUS books out there. However there are no why POCUS books. With the development of multiple handheld probes and powerful evidence at their backs, it is time for a book about why.

It takes the reader on a captivating crash course through the history of our physical exam. From Laennec to Lichtenstein, it presents stethoscopic and sonographic concepts and the evidence to support them, seen through the lens of the relevant medical history on which our current medical diagnostic knowledge resides. We believe it is a must read for anyone who uses a stethoscope. But of course, we are biased. Coming late summer 2021.
